Dance Medicine Discourse Community
The dance medicine discourse community is a subgenera of the dance discourse community itself. This community strives to educate dancers and dance teachers on the science and medicine involved in the dance field. Various forms of communication are used, most of which are fairly scientific in their writing styles and methods, resulting in the use of the AMA style citation. Although scientific, the writing remains to appeal to the audience's emotions in order to incorporate the artistic and humanitarian side of the community. These forms of communication are further explored in the "Common Forms of Intercommunication" tab. This community privileges specific information and topics over others, thus resulting in major topics of research. These topics are further investigated in the "Major Topics of Research" tab.
